Scott Wolfe School of Fish Charters/Manipulator 63 Warm water has apparently sent most shore guys to there bodies of water to try their luck. Quality has been fantastic with nice 4 year old kings and big lakers even on the tough days. A faster troll produced better most days for numbers, but bigger fish were taken on slower trolls. Downriggers within 20 feet of the bottom and wire divers near the bottom worked. ![]() Smokin’ Fish Tackle Hulk Fly and Jimmy Fly Spartan fly were the best ones. The big flasher fly combination targeting kings were the best this week with Green/Black/Silver and Green/Black/White combos being best. On a good day mixed catches of lakers, kings, steelhead and an occasional coho and brown are being taken. They just aren’t in the mood to hit all the time. 100 to 140 feet anywhere on the West side of the lake is holding good numbers of fish. Some days the fish are on and some days they are off. The worst part is that there is no patter I have seen to be able to predict what is going to happen. Some days we go out and its lock and load with others struggling for a handful. I'm sorry if I'm just kinda hitching a ride here.Fishing is as inconsistent as I have ever seen. (Possibly best for UNI Drum as Bigger than shrimp but the same thing more or less All Crustaceans)ġb, Shrimp (Trophy Drum love this and you will catch a few Trophy bass in missouri and Bowfin)Ģ, Natural Eggs (Drum in missouri only thing seem to eat this but decent amount of Trophies)ģ, Night Crawlers (Will get many bass and a few Trophy Drum)Ĥ, Wax Worms (not the best as many other eat this also)ĥ, Maggots (not the best as many other eat this also)Ħ, Red Worms (not the best as many other eat this also)Īgain this is just general info for drum that i have discovored So that answers one of my drum questions.
